Trevor’s path to wine is one of purposeful evolution, shaped by a blend of discipline, curiosity, and respect for tradition. His journey began far from Napa Valley, on the beaches of SoCal, before a move north during college brought him to the wilderness of Northern California. Immersed in the region’s rugged beauty, Trevor’s first steps into the wine industry were taken in the cellar of a small, family-run winery in Napa, where he managed operations and gained an intimate understanding of the craft’s most essential rituals.

This experience awakened a deep appreciation for the unseen labor and quiet precision behind every great wine. It’s this ethos that inspires Mallett Vineyards—a homage to the "cellar rats" of winemaking’s early days, whose tireless efforts shaped the foundation of the industry.

Trevor’s foundation of discipline was built on the baseball field, playing at Santa Rosa Junior College and later at the University of Missouri, where he competed as a catcher in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Real Estate from Mizzou’s Trulaske School of Business, followed by an MBA in Wine Business from Sonoma State University. Combining a strategic business mindset with a deep respect for winemaking traditions, Trevor ensures Mallett Vineyards crafts wines that honor the legacy of dedication and precision from the cellar to the glass.
